These few pics will give you a reasonable idea.
The tide on the way out like the wind surfer with the squalls of rain bearing south across The Wash.
The protective groynes clearly visible on the muddy flats looking west.
For these two you will need to double click (as you can for any of the others too) ... I included them to show the muddy "Wash", the roughest view of the sea we had seen this visit and especially the symmetry of the ocean wind farm - reminded me of the way a tree plantation appears, but right there, in white steel towering above the ocean supporting the turbines and wings (and of course a kite surfer as well!). A little later there were more than a dozen wind and kite surfers enjoying the conditions.
The main attraction id these multicoloured cliffs ... good day for the gulls to get a close view.
One of two grand terraces above the cliff, across the promenade and gardens.
We visited the Golden Lion Hotel for a cuppa on arrival and an extended feeding stop for Maggie. George & I headed off to walk Daisy along the cliff promenade and then we had fish & chips over the road from the Hotel at Fishers of Hunstanton - reputedly one of the best in all of the UK. Using that benchmark, we can be well proud of what the Blue Shop in Alstonville offers! That said, there was nothing left.
And to conclude, here is a proud mum and very contented Maggie drifting off to her slumber land in the buggy in Sunday finery :).
